Cabo Real is one of the largest, with over 2800 acres, and one of the original master-planned communities on the Cabo Corridor.
The developer is Grupo Questro, founded by the Sanchez-Navarro family. Slightly different in structure from the private, member only enclaves, because it is a mixed use development open to the public. Hotel guests and the public can enter the community and play the golf club without owning property. The golf course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr.
High end hotels and resorts within Cabo Real include Las Ventanas al Paraiso (a Rosewood Resort), Hilton Los Cabos, Marquis Los Cabos, and Paradisus.
Recently, Cabo Real Surf Club has broken ground to add a more modern private community and amenities (including the wave pool of consistency) to the legacy development.
